The Künzle mountain cheese dairy, at the foot of the Hulftegg, is a small family business that produces cheese specialities with a lot of passion and commitment.
The Künzle mountain cheese dairy will be handed over to the second generation in 2021. It was successfully managed with a lot of passion by the first generation "Künzle" and was constantly being further developed. The handover to Matthias marks the beginning of a new phase for the cheese dairy in Mühlrüti. The Künzle mountain cheese dairy has around 200 percent of the workforce in production up to and including sales. The main thing is semi-hard cheese, always paying attention to the highest quality, of which the company is very proud. In addition to the main variety "red Tilsiter", other cheese specialities are produced, such as the creamy "Bergrahmkäse", the spicy "Fyrobigchäs", the fresh "Sternenkäse", the spicy "Chili-Kuss", the hard "Bergkristall", the melting "Bergraclette" and the Bergfondue Hausblend.
