Badstubebrunnen

The Badstubebrunnen fountain in Weinfelden is one of the oldest and most historic fountains in the city and is reminiscent of the former Badstube on the road to Constance.

The public bath was once an important meeting place for locals and travelers, offered opportunities for personal hygiene and recreation, and was supplied with water from the fountain. Later, he also served the inn "Zur Goldenen Krone". As a witness to the important trade and pilgrimage route, the fountain still tells of a time when water, trade and hospitality shaped life in Weinfelden.
