Badestrand Altnau
The idyllic apple village of Altnau includes an exceptional, free beach on Lake Constance. The large, poplar-shaded lawn offers plenty of space for relaxation.
Particularly impressive is the longest footbridge on Lake Constance at almost 300 metres, which is also affectionately referred to as the "stem" of the apple village. Via a small platform attached to the jetty, you can jump into the water and sunbathe on the raft. Public barbecue areas invite you to roast sausages together. Sanitary facilities with toilets, showers and changing rooms provide comfort. The beach is easily accessible by train and boat as well as on foot or by bike, and parking spaces are available nearby.
