Who watched over the city night after night for centuries? What do the Habsburgs and the pier have to do with the castle? And why was the castle a Polish treasure trove?
Rapperswil Castle explores these questions and takes its guests on a fascinating journey through the castle's history. Once you have climbed the steps to the Gügelerturm, you will be rewarded with the spectacular view over the lake and the town of Rapperswil-Jona.
The impressive visitor experience leads atmospherically through the main building, the battlement walk and high up to the tower and explains the great connection between Poland and the castle.
For children aged 6 and over (note: first exhibition room can be a bit scary)
