Aussichtspunkt Eiche auf dem Forst
The oak tree in the forest, above the path is one of the most striking trees in the region. Again and again, the question is asked how old the tree might be. Its age is estimated at 350 years. This is not just an assertion, but can be deduced from the trunk circumference of 5.6 meters and other clues. A wonderful view of Altstätten and the Rhine Valley opens up from this vantage point.
