The Äuli Gorge is an adventure world for the whole family.
Lichtensteig is located in the Thur Valley. But when a river digs its way, after millennia, not only valleys remain. Because sometimes the water also encounters tougher opponents, as in the Lichtensteiger district of Steigrüti. Surrounded by fields and forests, lies the Äuli Gorge. In the Äuli gorge you can spend a whole day. There are hidden gorges, fire pits, gravel banks, a waterfall, swimming opportunities, viewpoints and forests where you can play hide and seek.
