Alte Fabrik Rapperswil – From Industrial to Cultural Center

The Alte Fabrik lies at the heart of Rapperswil-Jona and was initially the first Geberit factory premises, today a globally active company.

Following its conversion, the building is now a venue for various regional initiatives. The “Kurator” project forms the centerpiece of activities here, offering space for young people to exhibit their artwork. Regular concerts, readings and theatre performances also take place inside the old factory. The city library offers a broad range of publications to choose from. A bistro completes the offer with small delicacies according to old recipes.
