The Abbey District of St.Gallen is a World Heritage Site and includes several exhibition buildings, including the vaulted cellar, the exhibition hall and, of course, the abbey library.

The former monastery in St.Gallen is now a World Heritage Site and is a cultural hotspot in the cantonal capital. Numerous manuscripts and documents from the founding year to the present day are exhibited in the abbey district. A tourist magnet is the Abbey Library, built in 1758, which is one of the most beautiful historic book halls in the world.
