Aatalweiher

For the spinning mill built in 1833 at the exit of the ravine on the Uznaberg, the water power of the Aabach was used. In 1864, in view of the operational development for the additional hydropower generation, the Aatalweiher pond was created in Neuhaus. After more than 170 years of existence, the spinning mill on the Uznaberg finally ceased operations in the spring of 2005. Today, the lake invites you to swim, barbecue and linger.
