Erlebniswelt Hofwelten
In the Hofwelte, the history and stories of the Wil farm come to life.
More than 800 years have been in the walls of the Hof zu Wil. It was the centre of power of the Princely Abbey of St.Gallen, a place where the Swiss Confederation set the course, a flourishing brewery and is now an architectural monument of national importance. The Wil farm has lived many lives.
In the "Hofwelten" adventure world, history is not only observed, but also felt, heard and helped to shape. The history is experienced in the building and in rooms that themselves date back to prince-abbot times.
The Hofwelten is an exhibition that invites you to touch, try out and participate. A media guide accompanies visitors through the rooms and centuries.
