Waldschenke Bischofszell
The idyllically situated Waldschenke can be easily reached on foot from the Hauptwil and Bischofszell train stations in 30 minutes. Once you have arrived, a wonderful panoramic view opens up to the visitor from the Säntis to the Glarus Alps.
The Waldschenke is a self-service restaurant, in the kiosk guests get refreshing drinks, various freshly prepared dishes and delicious specialties from the charcoal grill. The venison meat that is offered also comes from their own hunt. Under the shady trees, a holiday day can be spent wonderfully. It is a natural paradise especially for children, the playground invites you to romp around, while the adults can sit down comfortably and enjoy the specialties in the restaurant with a fine drink.
