Schwefelquelle Rietbad

Once the Rietbad was known far and wide as a spa with mineral spa, which was useful against all kinds of diseases and ailments. In the past three decades, the sulphur spring has almost been forgotten.
Take the post bus from Nesslau-Neu St. Johann in the direction of Schwägalp and get off at the Rietbad stop. There is already a well there from which sulphurous water flows. Follow the hiking trail southwards. This climbs, leads across a meadow and on the last part you follow a stream. After a short time you reach the barbecue area. A bridge leads over the stream.
