Ofenloch
The Ofenloch is the Grand Canyon of Eastern Switzerland. The still very young Necker falls about 100 m deep over the Nagelfluh rock face and then winds through the spectacular gorge.
The Ofenloch can be reached from Hemberg via the Mistelegg through the rear Neckertal to the Ampferenboden. Here it is worthwhile to enjoy the vastness of the Necker. Now it is time to master the approximately 300 meters of altitude difference to Alp Neuwald, before it goes down again to the first Necker tributaries at around 1170 m above sea level. The view into the gorge and the oven hole is impressive! From here you walk the same way back to Hemberg or continue via Ellbogen to Ennetbühl.
