With a passion for bees
For about 12 years, Roman Rüegg has dedicated himself to beekeeping with great enthusiasm. What once began with initial experiences has now become a real passion. He is particularly fascinated by the world of bees, their incredible organization, their interaction and the important work they do for nature day after day.
Today, Roman looks after around 20 bee colonies, which are at home at three different locations in the Goldinger Valley: in Hintergoldingen, Schwendi and Walde. Each location offers the bees different natural conditions and a diverse range of flowers and plants.
The honey can be purchased directly from him as well as from Landi Goldingen, Gasthaus zum Rössli Goldingen or from the Voland confectionery in Laupen .
