Instesamt 4 well-equipped fireplaces invite you to linger at the Schwendiseen.
Four fireplaces on the Schwendiseen! Fireplaces 1+2: From grill area 1 you have a beautiful view of the Vorderer Schwendisee and the summits of the Säntis and the Wildhuser Schofberg behind it. A solid steel grill from Strub is available, which can be easily adjusted in height. Next to it is a table with two benches and in a small shelter you will find a wood supply. BBQ area 2 is right next door. It is furnished almost identically to barbecue area 1. You look towards Hinteren Schwendisee with Gamser- and Chäserrugg in the background. A ToiToi toilet is located in a southeasterly direction on the hiking trail. Fireplaces 3+4: If you follow the nature trail to its end, you will come to a TotToi toilet. Here you go left and come to the two other barbecue areas. They are right next to each other. From you you have a wonderful view of the Vorderer Schwendisee and the Alpstein massif with Säntis and Altmann. On the left you can also see the Lütispitz. Both fireplaces are made of cuboid granite blocks. The grate is not adjustable in height. At both fireplaces there is a small shelter with a supply of wood.
