Worthwhile barbecue area at the idyllic Gräppelensee for medium group sizes.
At the wonderfully located Gräppelensee there are two fireplaces, which are only about 100 m apart. One is in the sun, the other in the shade of some spruces. Both are fenced so that the cows that spend the summer here cannot enter. The fireplace is concreted on three sides and has a rectangular grate that cannot be adjusted in height. It is rather too small for the number of benches. In addition, it has unfortunately been bent a bit. The floor around the fire pit, where there are also three benches, is sprinkled with wood chips. Next to it is a table with two benches. There is a huge supply of wood and also a hatchet with which you can split the logs even further. On my last visit, there was even a pair of barbecue tongs available. The fireplace in the shade is also concreted on three sides and has the same rust as the fireplace in the sun. The ToiToi toilet is located in a cottage on the street. Suitable for prams: no, wood: yes, drinking water: no, toilet: yes, capacity: approx. 35
