Goldinger Rundwanderung über den Tweralpspitz

The first part of the hike follows the Frechspatz Männi adventure trail, which was created in collaboration with the well-known children's song maker Andrew Bond. If you don't want to make the ascent to the Oberatzmännig, you can be comfortably carried up the mountain by the chairlift. Here you will find the Harz mountain restaurant with a beautiful view of the Linth plain and the Obersee.

If you want, you can make a detour down to the Hüttenberg restaurant . Here you can enjoy a hearty meal and a magnificent view over the Linth plain. Otherwise, the path leads on the ridge via the Schwammegg to the Hinterrotstein. A little later, the path branches off: to the right via Rotstein and Tweralpspitz to Chrüzegg. Here and there, boards of the Geoweg refer to the geological features of the area. Soon you will reach the Chrüzegg mountain inn . Here, a large, sunny panoramic terrace invites you to take a break. The panoramic view is breathtaking: in front to far over the Goldinger Valley to Lake Zurich, to the right to the peaks of the Tössbergland, to the back up to Lake Constance and to the left to the Säntis and the Churfirsten. House specialities include homemade cheese, which is only available here, as well as mineral water and lemonade from its own spring.

By the way: If you don't want to take the whole hike over the Chrüzegg under your feet, you can already make your way back to Schutt at the Obere Tweralp. Halfway along the way, where the asphalt road begins, you will come across the Alp Altschwand restaurant,  where you can expect home-style cuisine with seasonal menus.

For the guests on the Chrüzegg, the route continues after the break towards Chabis and Oberchamm, where it leads down quite steeply. Once you arrive at the stream, the route takes you leisurely back to the valley station of the Atzmännig sports lifts.
