The Lake Constance container in Romanshorn is probably the most beautiful mini-museum in Switzerland. In it, exciting traffic stories of the Lake Constance region are presented. The highlight of the converted freight container is a three-dimensional Lake Constance light fixture with peepholes and a walk-in staircase to the container roof. Visitors can leave their mark on a chalk wall.
Once Bella Italia and back – this was the marching order of the so-called Lindau Messenger, who operated from the early 14th century to 1826 as a messenger service between Lindau and Milan. Anyone who visits the new experience container in Romanshorn quickly realizes that the Lake Constance region is of great importance in terms of transport history.

The experience container is part of the Grand Tour of Switzerland (grandtour.myswitzerland.com) and was realized by Thurgau Tourism in close cooperation with the city of Romanshorn.
