Wangser See

Wangser Lake is the first lake of the famous 5-lake hike and part of the popular 2-lake hike. It offers spectacular views and is equally popular among hikers and fishers.

Wangsersee is the first lake along the famous 5-Lake Hike and can also be reached from Laufböden, where—together with the lower-lying Vilterser Seeli—it forms part of the 2-Lake Hike, a route especially popular with families. Wangsersee is beautifully nestled on a high plateau, which offers hikers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding nearby and distant mountain landscapes. The lake is also a favorite among fishing enthusiasts—fishing permits are available at the valley station of the Pizol cable cars.
