Theater Trouvaille

Discover the Trouvaille Theater in St. Gallen! The name says it all: as a “lucky find,” this charming stage (formerly Parfin de Siècle) under Matthias Flückiger offers special cultural gems in an intimate atmosphere. A hidden gem for true theater fans.

If you're looking for something special, sometimes you have to look a little closer. The Trouvaille Theater in St. Gallen is just such a discovery. Founded in 1997 by Arnim Halter and Regine Weingart as “Parfin de Siècle,” the theater has been known for over 25 years for its profound productions that captivate audiences.

Since actor Matthias Flückiger took the helm, a breath of fresh air has been blowing through the rooms. With the name change in 2022 to “Trouvaille” – French for a lucky find or a valuable discovery – a new chapter has begun. The theater has moved away from its sole focus on the turn of the century and is opening up to new, multi-layered material without losing its personal and exclusive character.

An important venue for the theater and cultural scene in St. Gallen – with plays, readings, and music programs.
