Sonne

First mentioned in 1448. Attractive, projecting half-timbered construction from 1659. At first the building was used only as a dwelling house, later from 1512 also as an inn and tavern. A massive wooden bay window without a saucer is conspicuous.
The painting around 1900 by C. Schmidt with the encounter between Alexander the Great and Diogenes ("Geh mir aus der Sonne") alludes to the house name. Sturdy Gothic beamed ceiling on the 1st floor and luminous rococo panelling on the 2nd floor.
