The sound dome on the third floor of the Peter Roth Resonance Centre is the heart of the building and the first publicly accessible sound dome in Switzerland. As a place for encounters and experiences, the centre welcomes visitors and offers interactive access to sound, resonance and vibration. The sound dome is a special place for special music: it can accommodate up to 100 guests, creates opportunities for encounters and allows visitors to reflect on their sound experiences. An important part of the first audiovisual presentation in the sound dome is the documentary film series ‘Vom Zauberklang der Dinge’ (The Magic Sound of Things), which showcases the work of Peter Roth and the musicians who accompanied him.
