Lansquenet fountain

At the southern end of the Fronwagplatz stands the Lansquenet Fountain or Metzger Fountain, a four-tube fountain and the largest fountain in the town. The heavily armed Lansquenet figure on the fountain column symbolizes the defensible city of Schaffhausen.
