Lakes of Fläsch
The Fläscher Lakes consist of the Oberst Lake, Mittler Lake, and Unterst Lake. Only the Oberst Lake has water all year round. The lakes are accessible via the Malanser Älpli and offer an impressive panorama.
The Fläscher lakes consist of the "Oberst See", "Mittler See" and "Unterst See", with only the Oberst See permanently carrying water, while the other two lakes dry out in summer.
The lakes can be reached from Malanser Älpli via Kamm and Fläscher Alp. Oberst See is also home to lake trout and Canadian Arctic char, but fishermen who are not familiar with the area need a lot of patience and a great deal of luck. In return, they - and of course all hikers - are rewarded with a magnificent panorama.
