Hübscher Wein
Switzerland's northernmost vineyard
Switzerland's northernmost vineyard is located in idyllic Altdorf SH. The terraced vineyard, which was planted in the 1970s, has over 430 acres and is planted with traditional grape varieties such as Riesling Sylvaner, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Dorsa. The site is also home to robust, fungus-resistant varieties such as Regent, Cabernet Jura, Leon Millot x Maréchal Foch and Muscaris.
This great diversity of varieties provides the basis for a range of beautiful and popular wines. The Reiat is a beautiful agricultural region with a wonderful view of the volcanic landscape of the Hegau (D). Residents and guests in Reiat enjoy the regionally produced wines. White, rosé and red wines, in particular carefully selected cuvees, are our strengths.
The vineyard is cultivated and cared for according to ecological principles. In the green terraces you can find rare plants, insects and also biodiverse areas.
Our grapes are carefully pressed and bottled by GVS Weinkellerei in Schaffhausen.
