Hoher Kasten
The gateway to the Alpstein
On the Hoher Kasten, the approximately 300-meter-long Europa-Rundweg offers views of six countries and the wonderful landscape. The circular trail is wheelchair accessible and thus also walkable for families with strollers and people with walking disabilities. In the summer months, alpine plants can be admired in the alpine garden.
The only revolving restaurant in eastern Switzerland rotates once around its own axis within an hour and offers a 360° panorama at 1794 m above sea level. The self-service panorama restaurant rounds off the culinary offerings on the summit.
Around the Hoher Kasten there are various tours in the best developed hiking area of the Alps.
The Hoher Kasten cable car takes guests from Brülisau directly to 1794 m above sea level in 8 minutes.
