«Fass» stage and «Fass» culture

Together you can achieve more. That was the basic idea of the cooperative "Zum Eichenen Fass", founded in 1977. To this day, the properties on Webergasse are a place of living, working and culture for visitors and the 400 or so members of the cooperative. The Beiz becomes a club for the Fassjazz concert series, its walls a Fassgalerie - and the small space underground a stage for cabaret, youth theatre, readings of the Schaffhausen Book Week, lectures and concerts. Hip, undisguised, direct, honest.
