Winery and family
The Christen family's winery is beautifully idyllic in the heart of the Chläggis.
In 2017, Jan and Nathalie took over the farm from their parents and are now the fourth generation to run the family business with great passion and dedication. Their four children complete the family (perfectly)!
The vineyard comprises 5.5 hectares of vines on which the varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Dorsa, Regent, Riesling-Silvaner, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Muscaris thrive.
However, it is not only vineyards and viticulture that earn the farm's living; 15 hectares of arable land also make their contribution. Traditional arable farming with the cultivation of food and animal feed has been an integral part of the farm for generations.
Philosophy
The Christen family's aim is to control the entire process from the vine to the wine rack themselves and to leave nothing to chance in this respect. They want to produce high-quality products that they can fully back with their name. With this autonomy, they have everything in their own hands, always have an overview of all the individual steps and enjoy the all-round successful result, namely their very own wine.

They are very happy to cater for their guests in the new tasting room. The tasting room can accommodate up to 30 people for events of all kinds.
On request, they are happy to organise a cellar tour, a vineyard tour or both.
