Chammseeli

The Chammseeli are remote mountain lakes on a plateau, accessible from Flumserberg. They offer a peaceful environment and are ideal for hikes, often combined with an overnight stay at the Murgseehütte.

The Chammseeli must be earned. They are nestled on a high plateau, which is best reached from Flumserberg. Surrounding these mountain lake jewels are many other small unnamed mountain lakes that, when viewed from above, sparkle like tiny gemstones in the landscape. Due to their remoteness, you often find yourself all alone at the Chammseeli, enjoying the breathtaking view just for yourself. Tip: A popular hike is from Maschgenkamm over Hoch Camatsch, Erdisgulmen, and Chammseeli, followed by an overnight stay at the Murgseehütte. On the second day, the descent through the enchanting Murgtal leads you to Murg on Lake Walensee. For those who want to complete the tour in one day, it requires a bit of stamina and sturdy feet.
