Auto is a project of visarte.ost, professional association of visual arts.
Auto is an exhibition and event space, a thinking center, a planning office and course venue, a hub, a bar ... the Auto presents current artistic projects and positions and puts them up for discussion.
The car started as "Projektraum exex" at Oberer Graben in former sales rooms of ex libris, continued to experiment as Nextex at Blumenbergplatz in the former lounge of the Gewerbeschule, played in the historic rooms of the house Pelikan at Schmiedgasse, resided again at Blumenbergplatz 3 on the 1st floor and had also nested in the former Italian Consulate at Frongartenstrasse 9. Now it is located at Linsebühlstrasse 13.
