Alpenhof – restaurant, hotel & library

The Alpenhof is an inspiring haven and working space set up for exchange, enjoyment and relaxation. In St. Anton, 1,110 metres above sea level and boasting views over the Rhine valley and Lake Constance, this is a place far removed from everyday cares, where the Alpstein towers above a sea of fog and eastern Switzerland reaches out to lands beyond.

The Alpenhof is a restaurant, hotel and library – a place to relax, enjoy and discover. A creative retreat in a tranquil, secluded spot, with breathtaking views and inspiring spaces.

Whether you come for lunch on the sunny garden terrace, coffee and cake in the lounge, drinks and snacks on the roof terrace or fine dining in the restaurant, you can expect dishes cooked with loving care and made from sustainable local produce. We focus on organic, home-made, regional food produced according to the Slow ethos.

The library at the Alpenhof is accessible round the clock to hotel guests and contains around 10,400 books on topics ranging from weather, geology, astronomy, physics and literature to photography, art, kitsch and popular culture. Gripping novels, inspiring cookbooks, art books and non-fiction titles can be found throughout the building.

The combination of accommodation, places for working, inspiring spaces and great food also makes the Alpenhof ideal for groups looking to engage in intensive work, blue-sky thinking and future planning.
