Holidays on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance

Monasteries, castles and apple orchards. A landscape modelled for cycling: rolling hills, wide river valleys and 70 kilometres of shore (Lake Constance and the Rhine). At the same, Thurgau offers much cultural diversity: there are castles in the Lake Constance area and culturally-historically important monasteries and original museums to be discovered. And: one in every three apples consumed in Switzerland comes from this region.

900 km of signposted routes on side roads and agricultural assistance routes make Thurgau a paradise for cyclists. Signs at almost every crossroads reliably indicate the way; distance information in every direction is included. It is also enjoyed by walkers, for who there are over 1,000 km of signposted walking trails in the Thurgau area. There are also four inline skating routes through the apples paradise.
